Next Thursday, 5/21 at 5:45 PM, we will hold an informal information session on volunteer roles during swim meets.

As a reminder, each family is asked to sign up for two volunteer slots during the summer season. We do keep track of volunteer sign-ups, and if we get toward the end of the season and your family has not fulfilled two slots, we will reach out directly to ask you to sign up.

A familiar pattern each season is that the same families tend to volunteer while others do not. We would really love to spread the volunteer support more evenly across the team!

This information session is designed to help families feel more comfortable and confident with the volunteer roles available during meets.

After this session we will open up the volunteer sign up for the mock meet.

We also invite families to bring gently used Fairfield Fins swimsuits to exchange with other parents who may be looking for a different size. This will occur after our meeting on 5/21.

Each swimmer’s team T-shirt was included in the registration fee. Many parents, siblings, and other family members choose to purchase shirts as well to help support and represent the team throughout the season.

This year’s shirt was designed by Christal Bowman, and we extend our sincere thanks for her creativity and hard work on the design!

All orders are due by May 18.
