Hello Fins Families!

Our swim season begins in just under one week, and we’re excited to get started!

6 & Under Swimmers:

All swimmers in the 6 & Under age group — both new and returning — are asked to attend a swim evaluation on Monday, May 12

• 5:30 PM- Last names A-C
• 5:50 PM- Last names F-J
• 6:10 PM- Last names K-Z

These evaluations will help our coaches place each swimmer into one of three practice groups based on their current skill level, ensuring the most effective and supportive environment for learning and progress.

Practice times for 6 & Under swimmers will be assigned by coaches after their evaluations for one of the following slots:

• 5:30–6:00 PM
• 6:00–6:30 PM
• 6:30–7:00 PM

Please note: Morning practices will not be available for this age group.

7 & Up Swimmers:

All new swimmers aged 7 and older must attend an evaluation on Monday, May 12. Please come between 5:30-6PM.

Regular evening practices for 7 & Up will run from Tuesday, May 13 through Thursday, July 3:

• 7–8 year-olds: 5:30–6:30 PM
• 9 and older: 6:30–7:30 PM

Beginning Thursday, June 12, we’ll also offer an optional morning practice from 9:00–10:00 AM.

DSSL Officials Training

We encourage any parents who would like to understand stroke and turn, meet starter or meet director to attend one of the following virtual sessions offered by DSSL:

Sunday, May 11, 2-4 pm

Tuesday, May 20, 7-9 pm

Wednesday, May 28, 7-9 pm
