Dear Parents & Guardians.

Wow, what a fantastic swim meet we had yesterday at the JCC. The fins enjoyed a 208 to 194 victory. We look forward to recognizing heat winners and those who achieved personal best times at practice today.

We appreciate our swimmers’ excellent sportsmanship, as well as the support of our parent volunteers at the meet!

Location and Parking

Meet address: 253 Country Club Drive, Durham 27712

You can park anywhere you'd like – but the right side of the parking lot is closest to the breezeway leading to the pool. The pool is behind the club. Once on the pool deck, the area on the left is designated for the Fins.

Start Time & Schedule

• 4:30 pm Coaches meeting to do cards in the snack bar (located off the breezeway)
• 4:30 pm Fairfield Swimmers Arrive 
• 4:30-5:00 pm Wave swim team warmups
• 5:00 pm-5:30 pm Fairfield Swim team warmups
• 5:40 pm team cheers
• 5:45 pm Meet begins with developmental freestyle heat(s)

Refreshments and Concessions

Water coolers and cups will be provided for swimmers. You can also purchase drinks and food (both hot and cold) in the snack bar. Cover ups and shoes are required in the snack bar as well as for the restrooms. The restrooms can be accessed via the glass door entering the club off the patio. This is the closest entrance from the pool.

Sign-ups Needed

Your swimmer(s) must be signed up by Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm. We cannot guarantee that late registrants can be accommodated for this meet.  Swimmer Sign up link

Several volunteer roles still need to be filled for this meet, including clerk of course, timer, place judge, relief timer and runner. Please review roles and sign up HERE as you are able to do so.
