Fins Volunteer Sign Up and DSSL Training (Tonight!)
Good Morning Fins Families!
I hope everyone has enjoyed being back in the water this week!
We will need volunteer support throughout the season to keep our meets running smoothly, and I will be helping our parent reps ensure those spots are filled through the season.
Each of the meets, available here: Sign Up Calendar, has now been updated with the correct roles and they are all available for sign-up. Sign Up Instructions are available and a big THANK YOU! to those who have already signed up!
There are official meet roles that require training provided by DSSL, Stroke and Turn, Starter, Meet Director. There are two training sessions remaining before the start of the official DSSL season, however, the Fins Mock Meet is scheduled during the last training.

Below is the zoom link for the DSSL Officials' Training to be held on:
Thursday, May 23, 7-9 pm
Wednesday, May 29, 7-9 pm (Fins Mock Meet)
Stroke and Turn training will be first, followed by Starter Training then Meet Director. All participants will sign in at the time of the training with a google doc (QR code will be provided at time of training). Meet Director must attend all three sessions.
If an official is currently USA Swimming Certified (not expired) for a particular position they do not need to attend training.
