Wednesday, we will have our next DSSL away meet at Garrett Farms. Please ensure that you have marked your swimmer(s) availability on the Fins Swim Meets section (link) by noon tomorrow (6/20) to ensure that the coaches can place your swimmer(s) in their events. Please have your swimmers on deck prior to 5:15

Below is important information for you and your swimmer(s) about Garrett Farms

Meet Timeline:

• 4:45-5:15 PM: Garrett Farms Warm Up
• 5:15-5:45 PM: Fairfield Warm Up
• 6:00 PM: First Event Starts
• 8:30 PM (estimated): Meet Ends

Parking and Directions:

The address to our pool is 3619 Cottonwood Drive, Durham 27707. There is a parking lot directly in front of our pool. When the lot fills up, please park on the street directly outside of the lot. One note, we ask that you only park on the side of the street that the pool is on. It helps with the flow of traffic. Additionally, your team will sit around the shallow end of the pool closest to the steps and lane 1. Garrett Farms will take the opposite side of the pool around the deep end and lane 6!

Volunteers

All volunteers should be on deck no later than 5:30 PM so we can have our volunteers meeting.

FF Volunteers Still Needed:

• 1 - Stroke & Turn Judges
• 1 - Place Judge
• 2 - Timers
• 2 - Clerk of Course

Snacks/Drinks:

GF will have a snack bar open at the meet with snacks/drinks available for purchase -- cash only. Families are also welcome to bring snacks/drinks with them, just no glass is allowed inside (including inside of coolers/bags!)
