Hey Everyone - 

We have confirmed with Hope Valley Country Club that the meet will pick up tomorrow evening, same time, same place.  The meet will resume/start where we suspended this evening at 11&12 Girl's Freestyle.

Swimmer / Volunteer Updates: If this change impacts your ability to volunteer, or your swimmer's ability to participate, please complete this Attendance Update Form as soon as possible.  This will help with us being able to confirm with HVCC by noon tomorrow any impacts to the heat sheet or volunteer roster.  If there is no change for your family, no actions needed and we will pick up exactly where we stopped this evening.  If your swimmer swam their only event (e.g. 6&U Free), you are welcome to come cheer on the Fins, but do not need to attend. 

Practice: As the coaches will be participating with the meet, tomorrow's Fins practice is cancelled.  Ms Barbi will be able to work with the Flippers at the Fairfield Pool and a separate email will come out tonight with some modifications to the Flipper schedule. 

Meet Details: 

Please arrive at Hope Valley Country Club (3803 Dover Road, Durham, NC 27707) by 4:45 PM. Fairfield swimmer warmups begin at 5:05 PM. The meet resumes at 5:30 PM

Swimmingly: Hope Valley Country Club will be using the digital meet platform Swimmingly for the meet. This means that swimmers will need to have their upper arms marked (right below their shoulders), in Sharpie, with “FF” + their personal 3 digit ID. For example, "FF123" written vertically on both arms. We have sorted out the swimmingly numbers for your swimmer's arms and attached both the heat sheet for this evening and the swimmingly numbers. We will have plenty of sharpies available on deck if you need any help with this portion.

MEET TIMELINE:

• 4:45pm-5:05pm: HVCC warm-up
• 5pm: Volunteer meeting for both HVCC & FF (meet by scorer's table)
• 5:05pm-5:25pm: Fairfield warm-up
• 5:30pm: Meet starts promptly

Parking: Parking is limited. Please carpool and do not leave valuables in your car. We have two parking options on the left and right side of the country club. First come, first serve. Only competitors are allowed in the lap pool during the meet. Diving board area and zero entry kiddie pool are closed. Seating: Visitors by zero entry pool. Food: There will be food/drink for sale by zero entry pool. Credit card only. No cash accepted.
